Filed in:

Closing date: 20th January 2016

Cookham Dean CC is one of the leading cricket clubs in Berkshire, set in a lovely village between Maidenhead and Marlow.  Last season, the 1st XI were promoted to the Home Counties Premier League (Division 2) following consecutive league title wins, and the Club has three other senior Saturday XI’s in the Thames Valley League, and a strong colts set-up particularly in the younger age groups.

The club are looking for a player-coach to to help develop the young talent in the Club and ensure that the recent success can be built upon.  The ideal candidate would hold an ECB Level 2 Coaching Certificate, and be able to bowl seam at 1st XI standard. To meet League regulations, this would require them to have been ordinarily resident in the UK for the past four years, or hold a UK passport and have been born in the UK

Exact scope of role to be defined though it is expected that the coaching will be around 5 to 8 hours per week which could potentially be tailored to fit with the right candidate’s schedule.
