Closing date: 9th February 2014

Full Time 35 hours per week. Immediate start available Salary commensurate with experience
Emirates Old Trafford is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation which is developing a reputation as a world class cricketing and entertainment venue.  We are focused on continuing to provide the highest standards of excellence at all levels of cricket from ‘playground to Test arena’, proudly being the home of one of the most famous County Cricket Clubs.

The Indoor Cricket Centre is the training base for all Lancashire players, whether at the ‘playground’ or ‘test arena’ level.  This rare opportunity to join the Indoor Cricket Centre team as a resident Coach & Duty Officer is one not to be missed by any aspiring coach.

This position would suit a highly motivated coach who is aspiring to, or has recently completed, their Level 3 qualification.  The post is a multifunctional one and the right candidate will have had experience in coaching within a variety of different settings, but also be someone who is happy to deal with minor maintenance issues in the cricket centre as well as setting up room facilities for meetings (tables, chairs, refreshments).

Whilst coaching on our courses you will be assisting the Lead Coach in a range of activities from junior and adult recreational courses to our development and specialised courses.  You will be given the opportunity to take on 1 to 1 sessions at the appropriate level and there is also the possibility to develop your own client base to earn supplemental income in addition to your salary through 1 to 1 coaching lessons outside of your normal working hours.

We are looking for someone who has the personality to match the role; someone who can multitask; is able to work under their own initiative; and maintains a friendly, approachable manner at all times.  You will need to demonstrate a good level of coaching experience, with a commitment to personal development and delivering exceptional customer service, possessing excellent communication, organisational and IT skills.

Take a look at the Job Description and if you meet the above requirements apply by sending your CV to humanresources@lccc.co.uk or Human Resources Department, Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester, M16 0PX.

This post will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.

The Closing Date for applications is Sunday 9th February 2014.

Interviews will be held w/c 24th February 2014.
