VARIABLE HOURS – IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE The post holder will be required to cover a variety of shifts over 7 days: Monday to Friday: 5pm – 10pm, Saturday & Sunday: 9am - 3pm / 3pm – 10pm 

Emirates Old Trafford is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation which is developing a reputation as a world class cricketing and entertainment venue. We are focused on continuing to provide the highest standards of excellence at all levels of cricket from ‘playground to Test arena’, proudly being the home of one of the most famous County Cricket Clubs. The Indoor Cricket Centre is the training base for all Lancashire players, whether at the ‘playground’ or ‘test arena’ level.
 
The Duty Officer role is a multifunctional one which encompasses a variety of tasks and you will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service in everything that you do. During your shift you will be the main contact in the Centre for our customers, and you will be in constant communication with our coaching staff to organise and set up and clear away equipment required for the sessions they deliver. This role involves a degree of manual handling tasks, for which full training will be provided. Additionally, as Fire Warden you will also be responsible for the safety of the indoor cricket centre and its customers. 
 
Other main tasks include: liaising with the on-site security team to open and close the facility; controlling the stock of cricket balls and equipment; setting up meeting rooms; preparing light refreshments for meetings and general housekeeping duties.
 
We are looking for someone who has the personality to match the role; someone who can multitask; has very good organisational, time-management and problem solving skills; is able to work under their own initiative; and maintains a friendly, approachable & professional manner at all times. The ability to build excellent relationships with our team of coaches, office staff and customers is essential. 
 
The hours of work will vary between evenings and weekends and are subject to bookings; therefore you must be flexible with your availability. The post is also subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
