CRICKET JOBS: Cricket Administrator - Oxfordshire CB (UK)

Cricket Administrator (37.5hrs per week, Full Time or Job Share Available, Salary dependant on experience)

 

Working Context

Oxfordshire Cricket Board Ltd (OCB) is the governing body of cricket in Oxfordshire with the mission - ‘To develop and protect the future of cricket by making it the sport of choice in Oxfordshire’. The Oxfordshire Cricket Board has a growing team of employees that need to be underpinned by an excellent organiser and communicator. 

 

Job Purpose

To organise and supervise all of the administrative activities that facilitate the smooth running and development of Oxfordshire Cricket. To identify and implement effective processes and systems to streamline the development team’s time and effectiveness. 

 

Core Areas 

  • Financial bookkeeping, and preparation of the monthly  management accounts. 
  • Company Payroll
  • Administration of electronic communications including, website content, newsletters, e-mail 
  • Creation and maintenance of the databases and data
  • Central Calendar of Events 
  • Cricket Pathway Fixture Secretary-Communication of winter and summer programs
  • Media communications

Experience in business administration and day-to-day financial control of a small company are highly desirable for the role. 

This role could be done by 2 people on a job share. The natural groupings would be Finance and Payroll and the rest.
