CRICKET JOBS: Senior Broadcast Manager - ICC (Dubai)

The International Cricket Council (“ICC”) is the global governing body for the sport, which administers all aspects of international cricket. The role will be based at our headquarters in Dubai. 

We are currently looking for a Senior Broadcast Manager who would be responsible in overseeing all live and non-live broadcasts and audio visuals for the ICC.

Principal Accountabilities 

Responsibilities of the Senior Broadcast Manager include but are not limited to the following: 

  • Be the editorial lead and ICC’s executive producer on the live transmission output for all ICC event coverage 
  • Develop a creative style, look and feel of all ICC event coverage 
  • Ensure that all ICC event broadcasts are delivered to the highest available technical specifications 
  • Manage relationship with the ICC events and broadcast production partner 
  • Oversee the delivery of the broadcast production partner 
  • Lead the ICC broadcasts forward in the integration of technology 
  • Manage production information and relationships with ICC licensees/broadcast partners 
  • Ensure all live and non-live productions are delivered in a timely manner 
  • Manage the current and any future production partner of ICC Cricket 360° 
  • Act as the executive producer of ICC Cricket 360° 
  • Be the editorial lead on all ICC produced programming 
  • Work closely with all ICC media rights licensees/partners in the lead up to and during ICC events 
  • Provide assistance in the development and the monitoring of the production budgets 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Attitude and Experience 

  • 8-10 years’ experience as a live sports, preferably, cricket producer at an international and local level 
  • 3-5 years’ experience as Head of Production/Executive Producer at an internationally renowned sports broadcaster/international broadcast production company 
  • Experience of operating in cricket environments across the globe 
  • Experience in dealing with key stakeholders, including broadcasters, ICC members and commercial entities 
  • A strategic thinker and planner 
  • Strong budgeting and financial management abilities 
  • A good understanding of world cricket and its network 
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 

 

Conditions of employment 

  • The position is based in Dubai and will report to the Head of Media Rights, Broadcast & Digital. 
  • The selected candidate to furnish two recent work references. 
  • Compensation offered will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
