The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in the state of Western Australia, home to WA’s elite teams, the Alcohol.Think Again Warriors and the Alcohol.Think Again Western Fury, and the T20 Big Bash League’s Perth Scorchers. It oversees the development of the game across a variety of metro and regional areas, age groups and communities. The WACA’s vision is to make cricket Australia’s favourite sport, in conjunction with Cricket Australia, and to be the leaders across national team representation, elite team success, participation, engagement and fan experience.

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join our friendly and dynamic team.

This diverse and challenging role requires someone who is extremely professional to provide high level administrative support to the Chief Executive Officer.

We are looking for a confident candidate who has initiative and is able to make quick decisions. Strong time management with the ability to juggling conflicting priorities and high attention detail is essential.

In this challenging and varied role, you will be responsible for but not limited to;

  • Managing the CEO’s and Executive Office day to day operations including calendars, meetings and travel requirements
  • Preparation and editing of correspondence, reports and presentations including monthly Board papers 
  • Building effective professional networks with stakeholders
  • Function management
  • Working collaboratively with Cricket Australia
  • Managing the Executive budget
  • Assisting and managing visiting VIPs

This role offers a huge amount of variety, the ability to work autonomously and the opportunity to utilise your skills in positively influencing the office culture. To be successful in this role, you will be highly proactive and organised with experience producing high quality reports within the MS Office suite.

It is preferable that you will have at least three years experience working at an executive level and have exceptional relationship building and organisational skills with the ability to communicate and liaise confidentially with key stakeholders. An adaptable and proactive approach will see the successful candidate become fully involved in the business.
