Hospitality Sales Executive - 6 month contract

JOIN THE SWALEC STADIUM ASHES TEAM!

Glamorgan Cricket require a Hospitality Sales Executive to join our team on a six month contract until July 2015. You will be assisting the sales team selling our fantastic 1st Investec Ashes Test corporate hospitality packages to businesses primarily in South Wales, the South West and along the M4 corridor.

IMPORTANT

This is a cold calling sales role and the successful applicant will have proven experience in this area. We are not looking for someone who will require a lot of sales training or someone who has only dealt with incoming sales enquiries or calls previously. You need to have experience of making outgoing calls, cold calling potential new customers, selling a product and making sales. If that’s you then get in touch!

IN RETURN

We offer a competitive basic salary with the opportunity to earn some attractive bonuses based on sales success. We can be flexible in terms of start and finish times but bearing in mind that you will be selling to businesses you will need to work within office hours. Our standard working week is 37½ hours, it may be possible to work part time (with a pro rata salary). For the right person we’re prepared to create a role that suits you.

SKILLS

Self-motivation, enthusiasm and great communication skills are vital. You also need to have a good grasp of excel so you can keep accurate records and provide reports relating to the calls you have made. You will need good maths and English skills and be able to write professional and well-structured emails. You will be selling to business people so need to be able to present yourself, and represent us, in an intelligent and professional manner.
