The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in the state of Western Australia, home to WA’s elite teams, the Alcohol.Think Again Warriors and the Alcohol.Think Again Western Fury, and the T20 Big Bash League’s male and female Perth Scorchers. It oversees the development of the game of cricket throughout WA and works in conjunction with Cricket Australia to make cricket Australia’s favourite sport. The WACA’s vision is to be leaders in Australian cricket in the areas of national team representation, elite team success, participation, engagement and fan experience.

The WACA is currently seeking two energetic and enthusiastic persons to take on the full time roles of Regional Cricket Manager – Mid West based in Geraldton and Regional Cricket Manager – Goldfields based in Kalgoorlie.

This role involves growing cricket participation through the highly engaging and fun entry level programs such as in2CRICKET and T20Blast! You will also be activating strategies to increase participation of traditional and non-traditional cricket competitions for males, females, CALD and indigenous participants across schools and the community.

You will be actively identifying talent in the region and utilising local and state pathway programs along with skilled volunteer coaches to develop identified players.

Facilitating coach education programs and also ensuring the overall sustainability of cricket in the region are other key functions.

Working closely with the Regional Cricket Board, you will assist map, assess and identify all stakeholders needs.
