CRICKET JOBS: Cricket Analyst - WACA (Aus)

Perform is looking for staff to join our network of cricket analysts around Australia. The role involves scoring Australian domestic matches in-venue, via bespoke scoring software, on behalf of Cricket Australia.

The venue at which the candidate will be working will predominantly be the W.A.C.A Ground. To be considered for the role the candidate will need to be within a commutable distance of the W.A.C.A and be able to work at other games in Western Australia during the season if required. Please note the position will run from September to March and will incorporate approximately 40-50 days’ work.

Availability on weekends and evenings is a MUST. Please do NOT apply if you are unable to attend fixtures on weekdays, evenings or weekends, or if you are unable to commit for the whole season.

Applicants will:

  •     Have an excellent understanding of the laws of cricket
  •     Have an extensive knowledge of domestic and international cricket
  •     Be experienced in scoring cricket matches (preferably via computer software)
  •     Have an exceptional eye for detail
  •     Have an honest and personable character
  •     Work well on their own and as a team
  •     Be flexible in their working hours and able to commit to the matches assigned
  •     Always be punctual and reliable
  •     Have excellent IT skills
