CRICKET JOBS: Marketing and Communications Manager - Central Districts Cricket (NZ)

Central Districts Cricket Association (CDCA) is one of the six Major Associations responsible for the provision and delivery of cricket throughout New Zealand which we achieve through our eight District Cricket Associations throughout the lower North Island and top of the South Island.

We are establishing a new role of Marketing and Communications Manager who will, in conjunction with New Zealand Cricket, establish and implement our domestic cricket marketing plans, our brand development, advertising, promotions and licensed product programmes. In addition the role will provide support to the delivery of international and national competition events and liaise with our men’s and women’s representative players, our commercial partners and provide specialist support to our District Associations.

Based in Napier, this is a full time permanent role.

The ideal applicant will have a qualification in marketing and / or communications and have a proven track record in several of the following areas / skills:

  • Marketing campaigns
  • Brand management
  • Sports event management
  • Relationship management
  • Database management
  • Digital / social media platform management
  • Highly computer literate (inc. design skills)
