CRICKET JOBS: Game Development Officer, Female Cricket - WACA (Aus)

The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in the state of Western Australia, home to WA's elite teams, the Alcohol.Think Again Warriors and the Alcohol.Think Again Western Fury, and the T20 Big Bash League's male and female Perth Scorchers. It oversees the development of the game of cricket throughout WA and works in conjunction with Cricket Australia to make cricket Australia's favourite sport. The WACA's vision is to be leaders in Australian cricket in the areas of national team representation, elite team success, participation, engagement and fan experience.

WACA is looking for an enthusiastic experienced administrator to fill our new role of Competitions Coordinator – Female.

This role will be responsible for effectively administering a variety of female cricket competitions. With an understanding of the sports industry preferably cricket, you will be coordinating the fixtures, rules, regulations, playing conditions and player registrations of a variety of female participation competitions.

You will be developing partnerships with key stakeholders in female cricket within Western Australia, providing support to female club administrators and being the main point of contact for club officials in relation to the administration of the competitions.

You will also be providing general administration support to the Game & Market Development department assisting with updating the relent information on the website, collating participation data and convening internal meetings.

We are looking for a candidate who has proven strong administration skills, is very disciplined in their approach to their work, has extreme attention to detail and can engage effectively with all key stakeholders with enthusiasm and confidence. This role will have an element of promoting female cricket and so your communication skills will need to be polished and professional.
