Alvin Kallicharran played Test cricket for the West Indies as part of one of the most successful teams of all time. His elegant middle order batting brought him 32,000 first class runs with 87 centuries (12 of them against Test opposition). He also captained his country.

He is well known for his ability to play long innings against both pace and spin bowling with a patient but positive mental approach.  He now manages the Lashings World XI and helps young players emulate his achievements at the highest level.
