Iain Brunnschweiler

Iain Brunnschweiler is the England Under-17 coach and a member of the coaching staff at Hampshire Cricket Club working with the professionals and academy players.

He is a ECB Level 4 qualified coach, and has a degree in Sport and Exercise Science. He completed his dissertation in the biomechanics of fast bowling, which he presented at the BASES Annual student conference.

He was a professional on the staff at Hampshire from 2000-2003, making his Championship debut against Yorkshire at Scarborough, and his one-day debut against Middlesex at The Rose Bowl. He also represented England at under-17 level, playing in an International Youth Tournament in Bermuda in 1997.

His career highlight in cricket was hitting the winning runs against Steve Waugh’s all-conquering Australians in 2001 during a tour match at The Rose Bowl.
