HI im having trouble with my cut shot i am getting my back foot across ant my body weight into the ball just like a normal cut shot But my arms can not
fully extend i have only just got into this habbit
Do u have and drills?

I met steve waugh 2 nights ago at the cricket australia v soutth africk jan 23 scg

i walked into the bar and i whent into the toliet and came out my friend brought his club cap. and he said look what i got i was like dam lucky kid steve signed his hat

so i saw him and i ran up saying steve.. and i got a cricket ball signed by him such a great player . the next day back to blub cricket and scored a nice 43 and ii got out caught by deep mid-of i hid 8 fours and me and my opening partner caried the score to 0-83 or 22 overs soon as i got out everyone gets out all out for 104 after 38 overs time to bowl i ame out to open the bowling 1-10-4 and i got the only wicket for the game and the oppisiton won by 10 wickets Bad peformance. im on 347 runs for the seasion my goal is 400+ Better lick next week final game.

Gabe, I would suggest looking at your back foot defence and drive first. If you can get the foot position right for those shots the cut should follow naturally.

i can do any shot on the back foot but at the moment the cut shor sceems not naturall for me hard to explian .

anyway in the up cumming winter in australia kingsgrove cricket shop have orgnised a 20 20 comp i can hit the ball hard and have great timing but i want to hit more sixes. i am 13 and i have a strong body is their any strength work i can do to be stronger and more athletic because im a bowler aswell any tips?

thanks gabe.

Good show. It would be good if you could post an article with little more detail on the signs of overtraining.

That does help but that is very brief.. I would like it if you could give a little more details & signs.

I am able to do 3 sets of 12 clap push ups comfortably but I can't progress onto the back clap. Why is this so & how can I improve?

I reckon you should try double clap pushups first, it worked for me. Then after that try and touch your hands with hips, then eventually the clap behind your back.

OK lex I'll see what I can come up with for you.

I tried even 2 clap push ups, but I can't do them .. I don't understand why I can't progress .. I am able to increse the sets & reps above 12 x 3, but still can't manage 1 proper back clap / double clap / hip clap push up
