HI im having trouble with my cut shot i am getting my back foot across ant my body weight into the ball just like a normal cut shot But my arms can not
fully extend i have only just got into this habbit

I met steve waugh 2 nights ago at the cricket australia v soutth africk jan 23 scg

i walked into the bar and i whent into the toliet and came out my friend brought his club cap. and he said look what i got i was like dam lucky kid steve signed his hat

so i saw him and i ran up saying steve.. and i got a cricket ball signed by him such a great player . the next day back to blub cricket and scored a nice 43 and ii got out caught by deep mid-of i hid 8 fours and me and my opening partner caried the score to 0-83 or 22 overs soon as i got out everyone gets out all out for 104 after 38 overs time to bowl i ame out to open the bowling 1-10-4 and i got the only wicket for the game and the oppisiton won by 10 wickets Bad peformance. im on 347 runs for the seasion my goal is 400+ Better lick next week final game.

Gabe, I would suggest looking at your back foot defence and drive first. If you can get the foot position right for those shots the cut should follow naturally.

i can do any shot on the back foot but at the moment the cut shor sceems not naturall for me hard to explian .

anyway in the up cumming winter in australia kingsgrove cricket shop have orgnised a 20 20 comp i can hit the ball hard and have great timing but i want to hit more sixes. i am 13 and i have a strong body is their any strength work i can do to be stronger and more athletic because im a bowler aswell any tips?

Good show. It would be good if you could post an article with little more detail on the signs of overtraining.

I am able to do 3 sets of 12 clap push ups comfortably but I can't progress onto the back clap. Why is this so & how can I improve?

I reckon you should try double clap pushups first, it worked for me. Then after that try and touch your hands with hips, then eventually the clap behind your back.
