Cricket Show 334: Competition Winner

Filed in:

This week's winner of the Cricket Show podcast question competition is Phlipper. He wins a free coaching course from PitchVision Academy.

The winning question was,

"Our first XI had 4 key members leave last season and thus didn't win a game last year and were relegated to the next lower grade. We started this season with a win but in our second game we've came up against a side which bowled with great discipline on that 4th stump line and a lot of the guys really struggled to make any runs. The goal was to bat out the overs (80 per day in this competition) but is that enough when you only post a low score (all out in 72 overs)? Is there a way to coach the players to look to make runs rather than just survive, or could it be just a matter of self-confidence?"

Listen to the panels answer to his question here.
