The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in the state of Western Australia, home to WA’s elite teams, the Alcohol.Think Again Western Warriors and the Alcohol.Think Again Western Fury, and the T20 Big Bash League’s Perth Scorchers. It oversees the development of the game across a variety of metro and regional areas, age groups and communities. The WACA’s vision is to make cricket Australia’s favourite sport, in conjunction with Cricket Australia, and to be the leaders across national team representation, elite team success, participation, engagement and fan experience.

 

We are currently looking for an energetic and experienced Office Administrator to play an important role in delivering the highest standards of phone and face to face customer service, as well as supporting the business with a variety of administration duties and projects.

Positioned within our Reception, the Office Administrator will be handling all incoming calls and enquiries. You will be managing all of the Australia Post and courier requirements, travel arrangements of the Association, coordinating venue bookings, online shop stock levels, staff uniforms, stationary, office maintenance requests and collating non-match day event bookings and payments.

The varied scope of this exciting role will also see you undertaking seasonal administration tasks such as coordinating our annual wicket soil project, registration of holiday clinics and coaching courses, umpire payments, club insurance, participation figures and other key administration projects.

Match days are exciting and the Office Administrator will be required to work outside of regular office hours to continue to provide high level customer service to our cricket patrons.

This role will suit a candidate who can demonstrate as least two years experience in a similar role or working environment. The successful candidate will have superior interpersonal skills and be dedicated to going the extra mile at all times, friendly and approachable. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office is expected.
