Eastern Province Cricket which subscribes to the principles of Employment Equity, invites applications from suitably qualified persons, and preferably from designated groups for appointment to the following position:

EASTERN PROVINCE CRICKET requires a Chief Executive Officer with thinking and leadership ability; analysis, judgment and decision making ability; strong negotiating skills; emotional intelligence and inter-personal skills. The incumbent will be able to communicate effectively across all stakeholder levels, work well under pressure to deliver on objectives in a changing business, social and sporting environment.

The ideal candidate must have a relevant postgraduate Bachelor’s Degree while a business degree will be an added advantage, good conceptual understanding of key issues in local and global Sport environment with 10 years of senior management experience in a Business or Commercial Entity as well as an understanding of transformation and its implementation.

Responsible for Strategic Management, Governance, Leadership, Financial Management, Transformation, Human resources planning and management, High performance culture and implementation of Board strategy and Board resolutions.
