Job Title: Overseas Cricket Coach
Reports to: Head Coach
Dates of Employment: 15th
October 2015 to 15th April 2016 (dates can be flexible)

Background:
Cricket Argentina is responsible for promoting, managing and advancing all cricket in Argentina.
The development programme looks to give opportunities and competition to both boys and girls at every age group in the country, both domestically and internationally. On the domestic scene, Argentina has an U14 league and an U18 league.  There is also the Development Cup and a number of soft ball cricket festivals for juniors.

Role Purpose:

• Successful candidates will be responsible for developing cricket in Argentina.
• Overseas Coaches will be expected to coach in schools, clubs and aid with the national Argentine age group coaching set up.

Key Responsibilities:

• To plan and deliver coaching sessions for children across all levels
• To ensure that all sessions that are delivered are inclusive, competitive and fun for all
• To deliver sessions during the curriculum, after school and at club level
• To deliver one on one coaching sessions
• To coordinate competitions when requested
• To assist in the education of local coaches
• To attend meetings and training courses to ensure effective communication across all levels
• To promote all Cricket Argentina events and competitions
• Knowledge, experience and skills:

• Experience of coaching in a school or club environment (E)
• Experience of working with children (E)
• Excellent communication skills (E)
• Ability to manage you time effectively (E)
• ECB / UKCC 2 coaching qualification (or equivalent) (E)
• Ability to work flexible and unsociable hours (often evenings and weekends) including long traveling times  (E)
• Spanish speaker (P)

Package:

• Cricket Argentina will pay 6,000 ARS per month, in addition to accommodation and travel expenses. Any successful candidates will be required to fund their own return flights to Argentina.
