CRICKET JOBS: Community Coach - Yorkshire CB (UK)

Applications are invited to join the team at Yorkshire Cricket Board as Community Cricket Coach covering the Scarborough District.

This is a new post for the area for which applicants will need a sound knowledge and understanding of cricket; a commitment to increase player participation at all levels; proven administrative and managerial ability; and good communication skills.

The post is managed and funded by Yorkshire Cricket Board through the Chance to Shine Programme with the successful applicant being required to work directly with local cricket clubs and schools. Applicants will need to be energetic and enthusiastic and will be joining an established and successful team.

A key focus will be to launch club and school Chance to Shine cricket programmes to engage and retain young people in sport and cricket. Playing and coaching experience, with a UK Level 2 qualification are essential criteria for these posts.

The post is for 37 hours a week, for an initial contract of one year commencing November or as soon as possible.
