Conference & Events Sales Co-ordinator - Salary commensurate with experience

Lancashire County Cricket Club is a prestigious International and County Cricket organisation.  With our £40m redevelopment project nearly complete, we will be offering extensive conference, banqueting and corporate hospitality facilities.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, committed individual to join our Sales & Events team to ensure the continued successful growth of this part of our business.

We require an experienced C&E Sales Co-ordinator who can exceed client expectations and produce a function sheet that reflects customer requirements accurately and on time through regular contact with clients, ensuring all details of the event are covered.

This role requires you to be passionate about events.  You will be responsible for co-ordinating confirmed events, via regular contact with clients via phone, email or on appointments, to provide the client with a detailed event sheet. It will involve working with all departments at the Club to ensure that the event details are clearly communicated and the event itself is delivered successfully.  You will continue to develop the established relationships with the client, following their initial contact with the Event Sales Agents, to get feedback and generate repeat and future event enquiries.  You must demonstrate strong experience of event co-ordination for a variety of events.

You must have a pro-active approach and a “can do attitude”, be computer literate, with good administration skills, attention to detail and be well organised, capable of working to deadlines, with a conscientious attitude to providing excellent customer service and confident in dealing with a wide range of customers.  Flexibility over working hours as there will be some evenings and weekends involved.

If you can meet all the requirements of the job, then please apply with your CV, and details of your current salary to Joanne Hunt, Human Resources, humanresources@lccc.co.uk .  The short listing process will be ongoing until the closing date; it is highly recommended you make your application at the earliest opportunity.

Closing date for applications 10th November 2014
