Durham County Cricket Club wish to recruit a Corporate Sales Manager to help deliver our targeted ticket sales across the 2015 season. 

The role will include selling our group offers for Domestic and International cricket matches 

alongside our special events programme.

We are looking for a strong motivated self-starter who has group sales experience, who can help us develop group sales across 5 key markets

• Corporate organisations
• Trade wholesalers such as ticket masters, bookings.com
• Travel Trade market – Coach parties, cruise liners, hoteliers
• School parties
• Local Cricketing Community

The Person:

• A degree or equivalent qualification;
• Sales Experience in a North East Sports or ticketed event venue
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills;
• The ability to work with established procedures;
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of attention to detail;
• Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of business financial administration;
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint and familiarity with website tools.
