Queensland Cricket is undergoing a period of change as it progresses towards its strategic objective of being recognised as a leading sporting organisation.  As part of its continued evolution it is seeking an outstanding Executive Assistant to support the recently appointed Chief Executive Officer.


 

 

 

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high level administrative and secretarial support to the CEO.
  • Providing administrative support to the Queensland Cricket Board.
  • Assuming a leadership role in respect of the Queensland Cricket family of associations, affiliates and members.
  • Preparing documentation and submissions for both Board and Cricket Australia consideration.
  • Assuming responsibility for the administrative and organisational aspects of governance requirements.
  • Performing the role of Board Secretary and secretary for Executive Management Team meetings.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the successful candidate will have experience in providing support at CEO and Board level including a sound understanding of current corporate governance requirements.  He /she will also have the maturity and communications skills to be able to interact effectively at the highest levels within a wide range of stakeholders.  Administrative and secretarial efficiency will be essential together with a flexible approach to work.
