Vanuatu Cricket is seeking to appoint an experienced High Performance Manager and National Coach to become part of the Vanuatu Cricket Team. Working closely with the General Manager and others you will be responsible for identification and development of representative players ensuring the continued outstanding performance of national teams at all levels.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a coach to become part of the growth of Vanuatu Cricket. The successful candidate will be dealing with a group where the National Team has risen from 45th to 35th in ICC world rankings in the past 3 years through its success in the World Cricket League. 

There will continue to be challenges to help develop cricket further in Vanuatu

The role will provide an opportunity to help lead Vanuatu Cricket further in all areas of high performance development.

The High Performance Manager/National Coach shall have at least the following attributes:

• Experience in coaching elite cricketers,
• Highly developed knowledge and understanding of cricket, the rules and its culture,
• The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, 
• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships,
• The ability to teach and interact with people of all ages,
• The ability to work to deadlines, maintain a flexible approach and contribute to a team environment,
• The ability to assist in the development and implementation of operational strategies,
• Minimum of Australia Level 2 coaching Accreditation, or equivalent,
• Intermediate computer knowledge,
• Willingness to become culturally aware of the Vanuatu societal norms,
• Willingness to learn and incorporate Vanuatu cultural sensitivities in his/her work

The job will be based in Port Vila, the capital of the ‘’happiest place on earth’’, Vanuatu.
