Essex Cricket are an ever-growing and developing business looking to be a leading professional sports club both on and off the field of play. The company is geared not only to support the First Team playing squad, but also to grow the game of cricket across East Anglia and Metropolitan London.

The Club are in search of a Marketing Assistant to help develop the Essex Cricket brand and deliver the Marketing Plan. This includes a primary focus on progressing the Club’s strategy of a customer centric business, encompassing a range of traditional and digital marketing tasks and responsibilities. The role also involves working across the Commercial Department with the opportunity to develop marketing skills in sponsorship delivery, Conference and Events, retail via the Essex Cricket Store, as well as matchday activation.

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the successful candidate must be hard-working, enthusiastic and confident, and keen to work in a fast-paced industry. The candidate must also be prepared to work unsociable hours during the season. The role is an ideal opportunity to develop a career in the sport marketing world at a professional sports club.
