CRICKET JOBS: People Advisor - ECB (UK)

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract that will work closely with the People Partner.  They will be responsible for providing administrative support and some first line HR operational support.

Role Context / Organisation Structure
 
The HR People team has 3 full time members of staff.  Due to volume of work, additional resource is needed to take on day to day administrative support.

  • All departments within the ECB

 
Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities – job specific
 

  • To provide first line support to employees on matters relating to their employment
  • To administer on-boarding and off-boarding process including preparing contracts, employment change letters, references etc.
  • To support the People Partner in organizing and running induction
  • To pull together key HR Information such as turnover, diversity etc.
  • To update, maintain and run reports from the People system
  • Work closely with finance on employee changes to be included in the payroll
  • To support the team in Recruitment administration including arranging interviews, interview materials etc.
  • To support the team in administering employee benefits

 
Project work will include:

  •     Assisting the People Partner with the job evaluation project, collating job descriptions identifying gaps and liaising with managers.
  •     Support the People Partner in familiarisation training for the new People system


Person Specification

  •     At least 2 years’ experience of working within an HR environment
  •     Has an understanding of Employment Law
  •     Ability to build credible, effective working relationships across all levels
  •     Project management skills
  •     Proactive approach to managing tasks
  •     Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities at a fast pace
  •     High attention to detail
  •     Think creatively and look for ideas and ways to change things
  •     Excellent problem solving skills
  •     Can do attitude
  •     Brilliant IT skills and an understanding of social media
  •     Maintains the strictest level of confidence at all times
  •
