CRICKET JOBS: Recruitment and People Advisor, 6 Month Contract - ECB (UK)

This role is a fixed term contract that will work closely with the People team.  Responsible for providing recruitment and onboarding support as well as first line generalist HR operational support.

Role Context / Organisation Structure
The LOC People team currently has 1 member of staff, the ECB People team has 3 members of staff. Due to volume of work, additional resource is needed to take on day to day support administratively.

Principal Responsibilities and Accountabilities – job specific
- Utilising a working knowledge of best practice and recruitment regulations, administer full recruitment process including but not limited to:
            - Building relationships with and supporting hiring managers
            - assist with the creation of job descriptions when required
- creating job adverts
            - utilise social media to engage with potential candidates
- liaising with candidates throughout the process ensuring that the candidate experience is a positive one
            - shortlisting
- assist with the production of interview questions and skill assessments which are role appropriate
            - arranging interviews
            - dealing with both successful and unsuccessful candidates
            - maintain a database of potential candidates for the future
            - track and provide regular updates on recruitment status
- Responsibility for on-boarding successful candidates including but not limited to:
            - drafting contracts
            - dealing with questions relating to the package
            - referencing
            - administering induction
- Responsibility for managing relationships with volunteers
- To provide first line support to employees on matters relating to their employment
- Produce regular reports on employee statistics
- To update, maintain and run reports from the People system
- Ensure payroll details reflect changes which occur during the employee life cycle.
 
Person Specification

  •     At least 2 years’ experience of working within an high volume recruitment environment
  •     Experience utilising social media to attract high quality candidates - desirable
  •     Proven experience within a generalist HR environment
  •     Has an understanding of Employment Law
  •     Ability to build credible, effective working relationships across all levels
  •     Project management skills
  •     Proactive approach to managing tasks
  •     Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage changing priorities at a fast pace
  •     High attention to detail
  •     Think creatively and look for ideas and ways to change things
  •     Excellent problem solving skills
  •     Can do attitude
  •     Brilliant IT skills and an understanding of HR systems
  •     Maintains the strictest level of confidence at all times
  •
