Applications are invited for the position of Strength and Conditioning Coach at Kent County Cricket Club.

Kent Cricket is looking to recruit a Strength & Conditioning Coach to develop and deliver world-class strength & conditioning (S&C) services for its players so that they are able to deliver to their full potential, thereby optimising the short and long term playing performance objectives of Kent Cricket.

 

 

Reporting to the Head Coach, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivery and implementation of individual and group conditioning sessions to Professional and Academy players. In conjunction with the Club’s Physiotherapist you will conduct a fitness tests, effectively report results, develop players specific programmes and agree recovery strategies for injured players.

 

Suitable candidates will be experienced providers of S&C services with high performance teams, practised in sports injury prevention and rehabilitation programmes. They will also be experienced in delivering S&C to an elite group of both senior and youth athletes. They will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a commitment to high standards and delivering exceptional service. UKSCA accreditation is also expected.

The successful candidate will be well organised, have a track record of success gained through effective coaching at all levels and will currently be successful in a senior coaching position. A knowledge, appreciation and understanding of the game, including the unique physical demands of the sport, will be a definite advantage.
