CRICKET JOBS: Strength and Conditioning Manager - NZ Cricket

New Zealand Cricket has a vacancy for a High Performance Strength & Conditioning Manager, responsible for driving NZC’s fitness programmes through our Major Associations towards a culture of world’s best.
 
In addition to responsibility for six regional Strength & Conditioning specialists, the role is also the lead S&C coach for our White Ferns, New Zealand A and New Zealand Under-19 national teams, ensuring that athletes strive to reach optimal fitness and strength levels within a culture of professionalism.   In conjunction with other high performance specialists, you’ll be required to provide education around nutrition and hydration and how these link to performance.

 
 
We’re looking for applicants who:
  • Have demonstrated success in an S&C high performance role, preferably cricket
  • Have experience in management of staff in a high performance structure
  • Can demonstrate current best practice for S&C, including nutrition and recovery
  • Are technologically literate
  • Have a passion for cricket and Strength & Conditioning
Candidates with a tertiary education in sports science would be favourably regarded.
 
This is a full time role based at our High Performance Centre at Lincoln, and will involve some team travel as required.
