Middlesex Cricket Board are looking for enthusiastic candidates to help us achieve our aims within the seventeen Boroughs of London. 

Duties will include assisting with school and community outreach programmes, coaching cricket games, officiating and event organisation. You will be required to use your knowledge and skills to aid training lessons.

Working Week 40 hours per week.
Weekly Wage £ 107.20

Training to be Provided
Full NVQ Diploma Level 2 in Activity Leadership.
Functional Skills Level 1 Maths and English.
Level 2 Award in Employment Awareness.

Expected Duration 13 months. 
 
Qualifications Required   
No formal qualifications required but and interest to learn new skills.
 
Personal Qualities   
We are looking for someone who has the ability to work as part of a team and individually. 
 
You must be able to take responsibility and look for solutions in challenging situations. 
 
You must also be able to act as a role model to others and represent the company in a professional manner.
 
Candidates will need to be motivated and responsible to ensure that they arrive punctually at their deployment site which could include schools, clubs or community environments.
Important Other Information   
From the 1st October 2013 a National Minimum Wage (NMW) for Apprentices is in force for young people aged 16-18 and those aged over 19 in the first year of their Apprenticeship. The rate is a minimum of £2.68 per hour. 
 
This NMW applies to time working plus time spent training as this is also part of the Apprenticeship. Anyone not covered by the age category above will be entitled to the NMW appropriate to their age. 
 
Please note – From 1st October 2014 the Apprentice National Minimum Wage will increase to £2.73 per hour. 
 
Future Prospects    
Future prospects include future employment via the Middlesex Cricket Board.
Reality Check    
Cricket DBS will be required. 
 
Working Week
8 hours per day -  Please expect varied start and finish times to your working day. You will be required to travel to different locations throughout Middlesex via public transport throughout the placement.
