At a rain swept London Oval in mid November six lucky miCoach readers were heading for a batting master class with one of England’s all time greats Mark Ramprakash.

The lucky winners Sam Turner, Tarquin Southwell, Ben Scott, Harvey Robetson, and Harry Parker. The afternoon was a great success and a knowledgeable insight for the youngsters to gain top tips and training routines from an all time great. The youngsters gained over an hour and a half of the maestro’s time to perfect floor and aerial batting strokes and pit there wits against each other in the nets. It was a graceful insight into what we promote here at PitchVision the ability to be transparent between levels, standard and ability.

“Thanks for a fantastic opportunity to have a nets sessions with Mark Ramprakash at the Oval yesterday. It was amazing to meet him and get tips from a hero who has been England cricket captain and scored 100 first class hundreds. He showed us how to best play the important cricket shots such as the drive and pull and front foot drive and we then had the opportunity to face him the in nets. It was really great. He even signed my bat! “
