Reporting to: Venue Accreditation Manager / Tournament Accreditation Manager

Location: Australia / New Zealand (fourteen separate posts – seven per country)
OVERVIEW:
Rushmans has been appointed to deliver the Accreditation operation for ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 across 14 locations in Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking fourteen Accreditation Assistant Managers to be located at the host venues in Australia and New Zealand during the tournament.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Venue Accreditation Assistant Managers will be working for Rushmans and based at the host venues in Australia and New Zealand. They will be responsible for helping to facilitate the smooth running of each venue’s Accreditation Centre, taking direction from the Venue Accreditation Manager, Rushmans Head of Accreditation and other key members of the central Rushmans team.
The role also includes liaising with various stakeholders who have a part in the delivery of the accreditation operation.
OVERVIEW OF ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with set up and installation of accreditation facilities at venue
- Oversee set up of the Rushmans Accreditation Ticketing System (RATS) at own venue, operate RATS and troubleshoot as required.
- Manage accreditation volunteer logistics
- Brief and manage volunteers on roles and responsibilities
- Act as trouble shooter in match day accreditation operations
- Liaise internally on accreditation queries
- Liaise with Accreditation Technical Manager on any RATS technical issues and operations
- Liaise with stadium on venue operations throughout on-site activity
- Act as liaison between core management team and stadium on any arising issues
- Liaise and information share with other Venue Accreditation Managers/Assistant Managers on specific issues
- Ensure all secondary accreditation devices are correctly delivered and distributed
- Ensure all zone points are correctly defined and delineated
- Oversee erection and positioning of accreditation zone signage as per the agreed plan from the pre-tournament zoning process
- Undertake spot check of stakeholder accreditation passes throughout match days and report to the Venue Accreditation Manager and/or Head of Accreditation as required.
- Deputise for the Venue Accreditation Manager when required
- Assist in de-rig of accreditation facilities at venue
All elements of the role will be fully briefed during training and all necessary back-up assistance will be provided.
Qualification and Experience
- Must have experience in operations management at major international sporting events, preferably of accreditation operations
- Proven management, organisational and team leadership skills
- Thorough understanding of computers and high levels of competency in general office software packages

- Flexible and eager to learn, as much of this role is learnt on the job

Payment:
Assistant Venue Accreditation Managers will be paid a fee which will reflect the number of days needed to complete the job. This will be a fixed fee, irrespective of whether additional hours or days of work are required/worked. Excessive working hours should be expected in the immediate lead up to the tournament. The hours required and exact dates / length of contract will be discussed further in the interview.
