Sussex League Side Recruiting Players

First things first. My name is Cal and I represent an English club cricket side called Lewes Priory Cricket Club.

LPCC is based in Lewes, the county town of East Sussex, located about ten miles from the city of Brighton and Hove and around an hour and a half from Londo. We are a historically successful club that places an emphasis on playing positive cricket and enjoying the game.

We are currently looking for overseas players to bolster our ranks for the upcoming 2014 season.

Our ideal candidates would be players from Australia or New Zealand who have played the game to a decent standard and are in the UK for reasons other than cricketing and who wish to spend some of their summer involved in the unique atmosphere of the English club game. Though we are of course open to applications from players from all corners of the world.

We are more than happy to make every effort to make your stay in England comfortable and memorable and to discuss any needs or requirements you may have.

We have a young, talented and vibrant 1stXI competing at a good standard in the Sussex League but we're on the hunt for players with the drive and talent to help us to greater success. If you or anyone that you know think that you fit the bill and you want to spend the English summer the very best way imaginable, then drop me a DM and let's talk.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Good evening Cal,

I'm Sheron Fernando here, from Sri Lanka not an Aussie or a Kiwi, lol

Well let mebriefly introduce myself first,

Name - Sheron Fernando
Age - 22+ (20th march 1991)
Currently working at HSBC (HDPL) Sri Lanka,
Experience - Started cricket at age of 11, And was the main paceman for the college cricket since u-11 to 1st XI ,was leading the team time to time (captain u-13/15/17)
While my college cricket was going on due to my college level performence, I've selected to SL District & Province teams every year, I was one of the fasters bowlers at my age that time, when I was in u-17 team we had a cricket camp conducted
by Mr.ARAVINDA DE SILVA (former SL cricketer) join with COCA _COLA Sri Lanka,So they measured my speed ,and it was about 129kmph.
I've also selected to U-19 Sri Lanka team but unfortunetly i got a back injury in
(L6 area) so had to quite for a time..
After two three months back I 've started my practices again with my Provincial coches Mr.HEMAL and Mr.GAMAGE,they said Im fine and recovered from the injury.
While I was performing my last year for school cricket, I've invited to play for Bloomfeild u-23 tournment. I played their for a year and had to quite it for my Final exams at school (G.C.E. ADVANCED LEVEL) which is must for students.
After finishing school I joined HSBC group and playing for HSBC in SL Merchantile cricket torunment with them since last year, As always I'm the key bowler, and took 16 wickets in 4 matches, we could play only 4 matches out of 7 due to rain season of Sri Lanka,
(I didn't want to mention all my stats here because I think it's not that important ,because past dosent help making any changes in future, lol
So thats all about me!

Also this year summer I was planning to play for Netherlands Amsterdam CC,still the negotiations are going, lol But even I'm okay to change my mind and play for your team too,,because this is my first experience in overseas club,It's always good to start Fresh with a fresh club! lol
I'm a Middle order batsman bit aggrasive, and of course Hyper aggrasive Right Arm Fast Bowler, lol

Hope to hear from you soon before my negotiations ends with ACC, Anyway nice to talk with you CAL
