Preseason is critical for fitness levels. As you are not playing regular cricket, you have more time to dedicate to improving your overall athleticism: Strength, power, speed, agility and mobility.
When the season starts you will have much less chance to dedicate time to injury prevention and improving general fitness, so build up your reserves now with a solid training and eating strategy to see you right through to Autumn.
