On the Day

The event is straight forward. On the 3rd of April, 2011 8 venues in 8 different countries across the world will use PitchVision at the same time. <<Click Here to see the revolutionary World Cup Live Hub The competition is based on overall participation and statistics gathered by our revolutionary motion-capture system that provides instant performance data across batting and bowling. The following data will determine the winner: Country that bowls the most balls Country that takes the most PV wickets Country that makes most PV runs The ‘fastest nation’ (highest average speed) Best bowling/batting statistics by an individual

Get a Sponsor

Local Sponsorship: All participant venues are encourged to find a local sponsor for their local event to help cover local costs and raise the profile of the event. Your sponsors will be provided with branding on the World Cup hub adjacent to your countries scores and we encourage you to place their banners in the background of your cam- era views.

Sponsors can be assured of the great local PR and global ex- posure to our world-wide community.

Global Sponsorship: We are currently discussing head- line ‘Gold’ and ‘Silver’ sponsorship with several UK parties, however we will welcome any expressions of interest from your own local sponsors for these packages. Gold Sponsor- ship features naming rights for the event as well as branding throughout the microsite. Silver Sponsorship provides for prominent branding on the key microsite section such as the leaderboard.

Round up the Players

Our Web HUB will host a PV World Cup microsite within the PV Interactive website. The microsite will feature a World Cup Leaderboard showing progressive scores for each country, in each category. Below this will be a dashboard of ‘PitchVision Live Data’ report and video player reporting scores and wickets for each par- ticipant country, suitably branded with national flag and colours) There will be live Twitter commentary and live comments can also be entered by each country. As a result, we will have global cricket in real time, with both Data and Video.

Rules of the Day

• Everyone must have a PitchVision system running, with players registered and ready to go.
• Each venue can set its own start and end times - the longer you play, the greater chance you have to lead your country to glory. You can play from dawn to midnight in your local time.
• All systems must have at least 1 PitchVision camera running (preferably 2) for live video clip feeds.
• All systems must have direct Internet connection for rapid upload of data throughout day. We en- courage all participants to then sit back and watch as scores and video clips from across the globe pour in.

World Cup Date & Time

Th e PitchVision World Cup will take place on SUNDAY, April 3rd 2011.  

Playing hours will be anytime between 12.00am  to midnight: in your local time:  the more you play, the greeater your chance to win!
