Oxfordshire Cricket Board Ltd (OCB) is the governing body of cricket in Oxfordshire with the mission

‘To develop and protect the future of cricket by making it the sport of choice in Oxfordshire’.

This role is pivotal to enable Oxfordshire to deliver its strategic plan over the next 4 years in relation to Club and School development. Key outcomes from the role will be development of sustainable programs in Oxfordshire schools that encourage effective migration to local clubs and increase player retention in Oxfordshire as a result.

The Western District Cricket Union (WDCU) has recently assumed responsibility for the organisation of all cricket in the west of Scotland under an agreement with Cricket Scotland(CS).  This will increase significantly the  number of matches for which it has responsibility. As a result, WDCU require the provision of a Cricket Administration service.    

This important role encompasses the administration of all cricket competitions under the auspices of the WDCU, including league and cup competitions.  The Administrator will require to provide general administrative and advisory support to the WDCU Office Bearers, Executive Committee, and sub Committees as required to assist them in fulfilling a schedule of several hundred fixtures in a typical season.

Essex County Cricket Club was established in 1876 and is responsible for the delivery of professional cricket in the County. Working closely with the Essex County Cricket Board and the newly formed Essex Cricket and Community Trust, the family of “Essex Cricket” embraces all aspects of the game through recreational cricket, entry into our professional Academy and First Class Cricket.
