Elite Cricket Performance Coaches @ Derbyshire County Cricket Club 

Following the appointment of Graeme Welch as Elite Performance Director, the Club is now seeking Expressions of Interest from highly-motivated and successful coaches to join the Elite Cricket Performance coaching team.
 
Derbyshire has an ambitious Cricket Strategy in place and the implementation of an Elite Cricket Performance model is the next phase of the Club’s quest for sustainable on-field success across all three domestic competitions, combined with the desire to produce England cricketers.
 
The new structure will see the key disciplines of Strength & Conditioning, Psychology, Lifestyle, Batting, Bowling, Wicketkeeping and Fielding developed in a consistent and integrated Elite Performance Pathway.
 
Reporting to the Elite Cricket Performance Director, the Elite Cricket Performance Coaches will be responsible for the strategic development of their core discipline and for delivering each discipline throughout the Elite Performance Pathway from junior set-up - in partnership with the Derbyshire Cricket Board - through the Academy to First team.
 
Applicants should ideally be qualified at a minimum of Level 3 ECB coaching qualification or equivalent with the ambition to achieve Level 4. 
It is intended that the recruitment process for the new coaching structure will be complete by the end of January 2014.
