Whitgift School is a leading independent day and boarding school for boys, set in an attractive 45-acre parkland site in South Croydon. 

The Head Groundsperson will need to be experienced in all aspects of sports ground maintenance for cricket, rugby, football, hockey (grass and all weather), athletics and other sports. 

The ability to produce cricket wickets of first class county standard is required, as is experience of general grounds and gardens maintenance as water and other formal gardens are contained within the Estate. 

The applicant will require a full knowledge of Health and Safety legislation relating to grounds maintenance and have the ability to manage a team of 12 grounds staff. Accommodation may be available.
