Do Your Bit: 24 Hour Charity Netathon

Want to do your bit for charity while playing cricket?

Cricket Onside are giving you the chance with the charity fundraising "netathon" at the Cricket Asylum indoor nets in West Yorkshire.

Cricket Onside is a new charity that aims to provide fantastic cricket experiences to all sectors of the community. A group of foster children will be the 1st group to benefit from Cricket Onside's work.

The first charity fundraiser is a 24 hour sponsored Netathon to be held at the Cricket Asylum, starting at midday on Tuesday the 27th of May 2014 and running through to Wednesday the 28th. The nets must be kept running for the full 24 hours.

We're inviting all groups, clubs and players to come and help fill the nets. Just a £5 contribution to the charity and you can play for as long as you like!

Any players, group or club are welcome to book a time slot and help raise funds to provide a Cricket experience to those that wouldn't normally have such opportunities.

If you would like to get involved then please contact Matt Dawson on 07775 614370 or matt@thecricketasylum.co.uk
