Main responsibilities:

Coaching the Wales Boys Under 13 Squad.

Specific Responsibilities:

To select teams and squads for matches and practice sessions together with the captain and team manager.

Joint responsibility with captain and team manager for discipline on and off the field of play in line with National Code of Conduct

Sole responsibility for communicating with players when they are not selected and providing any necessary feedback requested from the player.

Close liaison with captain regarding match strategy aimed at delivering success on the field

Preparation of squad coaching – indoor and outdoor/ middle practice and pre match warm ups

Team and individual squad members’ performance review, praise where necessary and highlighting areas for development on a regular basis.

Ensure that players understand the playing conditions and regulations

To attend sufficient appropriate coach development courses

Produce an ‘end of season’ squad report to include team performances, player averages and key individual performances.

National Women's Head Coach: Cricket Ireland

Club Development Officer: NT Cricket (Aus)

Women's Team Manager: Cricket Australia

The decentralised program for the Southern Stars involves state based and national squad training camps and an international playing schedule. This summer the Southern Stars will play a home series against England before heading to the T20 World Cup in Bangladesh. The Southern Stars Team Manager is responsible for the management of the Australian team during international competition in Australia and overseas and during national squad training camps. The role requires a commitment of approximately 85 days per year and the successful applicant will be paid a daily rate.

Cricket Development Officer – Schools & Education: Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket

Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket ("L&RC") is the Governing body for the sport in the counties and administers all aspects of recreational cricket.

We are currently looking for a Cricket Development Officer to support the Development team in the planning, delivering and monitoring of a co-ordinated programme of high quality, professional cricket activities that are reflective of the needs of the sport in the counties. The primary role of the CDO is to develop Secondary schools cricket in line with Chance to Shine ‘Sport England’ funding pathway and expectations for students aged 11 – 16.

Northants County Cricket Club is one of eighteen First Class county cricket clubs which make up the English domestic County Cricket leagues and are the 2013 T20 Champions.

Northants CCC also gained promotion to Division 1 of the County Championship.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly ambitious Science and Medicine Department for the 2013-14 Winter and 2014 Summer Programme.

The coaching programmes are the core activity of the Professional and Academy/Emerging Player Squads which is supported by a fully integrated programme of technical, tactical, mental, and physical and welfare sessions. Strength and Conditioning is seen as a key element of the programme.

Malahide Cricket Club operates 5 Senior Men’s and 2 Senior Ladies teams. One of the key objectives of the Club is to develop and maintain successful senior cricket teams particularly at 1st team level and we have identified a ECB level 2 or higher qualified coach (who may still be a player) as a requirement for the 2014 season.

The chosen candidate will provide the day to day leadership of all formats of the game, and in conjunction with the Club’s Captains, Team Management and Players, will promote the highest standards of performance, behaviour and discipline. The role must provide the necessary leadership and guidance to each team. The post holder will exercise this role in close consultation and partnership with the Captains and the Chair of Cricket in order to develop and deliver sustainable success.
