New Zealand Cricket is responsible for the administration of the game in New Zealand, with delivery of grassroots, club, school and representative programmes managed through six regional Major Associations.  New Zealand Cricket also administers the New Zealand men’s international team, The BLACKCAPS and the women’s international team, The White Ferns, as well as the New Zealand A, New Zealand Under-19 teams and emerging players.

The Community Cricket Development Officers build relationships locally to develop and deliver a high quality cricket programme to schools and support the development of clubs in their areas. In addition, working with the Cricket Operations & Participation Manager, deliver activities that grow participation in all cricket, including women, girls and those with disabilities.

Challow & Childrey Cricket Club operates 3 Senior Men’s Saturday League teams in the Cherwell Cricket League.

One of the key long term objectives of Challow & Childrey Cricket Club is to develop and maintain successful senior cricket teams particularly at 1st team level and we have identified that an ECB level 2 or higher qualified coach (who may still be a player) is a requirement for the 2014 season, and possibly beyond. The successful candidate will have experience in league cricket, and will be required to lead weekly training sessions and be with the 1st Team on matchdays. Part of the role will also be to assist with the development of our talented young players, including their integration into Senior Teams.

The chosen candidate will provide leadership in all formats of the game, and in conjunction with the Club’s Captains, Cricket Committee and players, will promote the highest standards of behaviour and discipline. The post holder exercises this role in close consultation and partnership with the 1st Team Captain who leads the Players on the field, and the Selection Group in order to develop and deliver policies to create sustainable success.

Junior Cricket Coordinator: Cricket Wellington

Cricket Wellington seeks an enthusiastic sports administrator with a passion for cricket.

The purpose of the Junior Cricket Coordinator position is to design and manage the effective delivery and implementation of the junior club and primary school component of Cricket Wellington’s Development programme.

The objective of the role is to grow participation in, and awareness of, cricket within the greater Wellington region, and to reinforce cricket as the number one choice of summer sport for all participants and potential participants, with a strong focus on the Maori and Pacific Island communities. The position offers the successful candidate a very real opportunity to drive junior cricket and ensure its continued profile and objectives are successfully delivered and enhanced.

Professional Player/Coach : Phoenix Cricket Club

Phoenix Cricket Club, the oldest cricket club in Ireland, Est. 1830, plays in Division two of the Leinster Cricket Union (LCU) and competes against other teams with players such as, Kevin O’Brien, Trent Johnston and Jeremy Bray to name a few.

We ourselves have had international players such as Dave Langford-Smith and the current Irish U17 captain Tom Anders has come directly through our Youth section.

We are seeking interest from those who would like to take up the role as a player/coach in 2014. The position would involve working with our best youth players who make up our Cricket Academy and developing our existing players further.

Cricket Professional: St John’s School, Leatherhead

A suitably experienced cricket professional is required to implement a cricket coaching programme for pupils aged 13-18. We envisage the coach would start indoor training as soon as possible and then plan and deliver the outdoor season from April through to July. The successful applicant will have experience of working with this age group and be prepared to work flexible hours as the role demands.

Lead Physiotherapist: Somerset CCC

Somerset CCC require a full-time Lead Physiotherapist to be responsible for the delivery of physiotherapy support services to the County’s professional players and emerging Academy players. In addition, you will provide or locally co-ordinate rehabilitation support services to contracted England players based at the County.

This role encompasses player screening and result assessment to formulate realistic injury prevention plans. High quality physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation of injured players is required to return them to optimum fitness in the shortest time possible. The role includes regular travel during and outside of the County season and may include overseas touring commitments.

The Physiotherapist will work closely with Somerset’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, as well as the Head Coach and Director of Cricket. Close liaison with the ECB National Lead Physiotherapist will also be required.
