As usual excellent stuff, David. I was disappointed by your comments that some readers email you and appear ungrateful for all your hard work Well b!!llocks to them.
I would like to see videos of England warm up routines. Also fielding drills. I get a little bored of too much technical stuff as I believe there is too much analysis.
Kind regards,
Robin

I agree on the fielding drill videos. I think it will be so much better to see some in action, really help to see how they run rather than an explanation.

I agree, i would like to see some warm up drills. I have started to do some warmup before games and practice but lack the complete list of warm up exercise. If you could post a video with a good comprehensive list, it would be great. I am sure you have written a list some where in this blog, but a video would be more helpful and easy to remember. Given the videocentric age we live in.
Secondly, I would like to watch a good breakdown of blowing technique (mainly pace). Most videos i have seen online are just too fast, so you don't really get to study the movements/techniques, i.e. footwork, hip drive, run up etc.
Thanks David for this cool website and your dedication to it.

Can you please post some videos on how to hit out or slog. The last two times I have tried the ball goes staright up in the air when I want it to go over mid on, the ball just goes straight up in the air.

I would like to see Fast Bowling, not just any fast bowing but infact the ABSAT videos which explain everything like driving the hips, chest drive and so on. I have seen loads of videos on swing bowling and other basic fast bowling. I really want to the actual fast bowling which explains how to increase pace by using what Ian Pont uses Advanced Biomechanics

Pre-match warm up and fielding drills would be great. These are something I also find a bit dry to read. It would be much better to see than read.
Maybe some tips on utilizing nets properly or maintaining fitness levels. These are something we would find useful now as the season is on.

Robin, Saying some people are ungrateful is probably a bit much. I'm sure they are grateful, they are just unsure how to show that gratefulness. Please don't think of it as a complaint, just a request!

I don't know how you would feel doing this in front of the camera...but some of the circuit training would be very helpful. Similar workouts techniques would be very beneficial. Being a student, I can't afford gym membership but I fortunately have some equipment at home. So being shown the correct techniques would help get more out of a workout, as well as avoid injury!
Sure youtube has certain videos for this, but very little stuff for cricket specific training.
Thanks
David

might sound silly but I'd like to see some video on improving the range of my throws: I used to be able to throw fast and flat from the boundary, but now struggle to get it in from Covers! My arm has lost its power? How can I get it back again?
Fantastic site David thanks!

I agree with the requests for bowling videos, but I would also add that they should highlight the very basics of technique. For example, which leg is forward in the delivery stride, where you should be aiming to get your feet and so on.
When I started bowling, a friend suggested that I was bowling off the wrong foot, but for the life of me I couldn't find any indication in coaching books (including Ian Pont's otherwise excellent tome) of which foot should be where and when. I had to resort to grainy YouTube footage of match highlights to figure it out.
They very basics are often taken so completely for granted that they can be forgotten sometimes.

I would like to match videos on bowling with stress on jump/delivery stride/bowling arm. Also any videos on how to bowl cutters, i have Ian Pont's book on bowling which was useful and also seen many videos that describe how to bowl cutters. But i am still not clear how to bowl them and i tried a lot in practice but not consistent and confident on that.
Thanks

I would like to see some old footage of both Don Bradman and Douglas Jardine both technically gifted and have incredible footwork the latter being somewhere I need to improve on.
