PitchVision Academy Cricket Show

Featuring an interview with England Women's prospect Catherine Dalton, the show this week has a different format.

If you are a regular listener you will be used to half hour shows with a coaches answering your questions. This week the show is 10 minutes long and is dedicated to the interview with Cath.

Drop us an email and let us know if you prefer the longer format or the shortened "Twenty20" version of the show.

The interview was recorded at Ealing CC in a spare moment between filming courses for Ian Pont and in the show we cover topics like:

  • What makes a good coach?
  • The benefits of using coaches working outside the system
  • The secret of how to become very good very quickly
  • Cricket vs. football
  • The mental side of cricket

If you want to see Cath in action helping Ian coach the drop step and front foot block, check out "How to Bowl Faster" the online coaching course from Ian Pont.

I preferred the longer format.

Thanks Lex, I'll keep it in mind for future shows, what about other opinions?

Had the opportunity to see the progress that Catherine Dalton made through Ian Pont at a coaching session. Definitely inspirational. Good luck to her.
