Got cricket fitness or nutrition questions?

Do you have any questions related to cricket fitness or nutrition? If so, drop me an email and I'll answer it on harrowdrive for you.

I'm lucky that I get contacted a lot with questions about tactics and technique (Especially from bowlers who want to bowl faster). I love getting those so please keep sending them, but I can't remember the last time I got a question about cricket fitness or nutrition.

I'm as much of a fitness and nutrition fanatic as I am a cricket nut so feel free to use my knowledge. I'll post my answers for free right here on this blog.

I know from previously asking that most of you consider yourself advanced iin fitness knowledge but less so in nutrition knowledge. Even the most advanced people still have questions though so feel free to blind me with science to get your minutiae answered.

This is an open ended offer.

Contact me in the normal way and improve your fitness and nutrition.

I would like to adopt your 21 Day Cycle. I like it very much, it spells out everything you have to encourage your team mates to come for workouts.

That is the only way to improve ones abilities instead of playing from memory and being able to last and score double figures and over fifty runs.

Thanks Augustine, although I must admit I'm not sure what you mean fully. Care to explain?

Hi,
I'm a young aspiring cricketer(fast bowler) and want to do anything to get better.
Can you advise me how much to train/ how much and when to do fitness drills, strength training etc. and where should I put them in my schedule?
Also, I'm not able to get your nutrition rules in 1 of my meals, the tiffin at school, in which choices are limited. could you suggest some quick meal (which will last about 5 hrs in my tiffin) that would adhering to the nutrition rules?
Thanks,
Dhruv

I mean playing without training for the occassion.

Good food and exercise.
